Holiday Hampers 

 

It's the season for giving and that means it's time for our annual Christmas Hamper event 2016!!! Every year our Vancouver chapter gets together to create hampers for single mothers and their families/families in need to help spread the Christmas cheer! 

This year I am challenging the Alumnae Chapter to put together TWO baskets! They will be going to Monarch Place (housing and outreach program for women and their children who are fleeing from domestic violence). 

Hampers for Monarch Place are due December 8th so we will need items by Wednesday, December 7th at the latest! Please arrange with us for alternate drop times/locations! 

The two families we will be helping out are:

 - Family #1 Mom's initials  J.T. - she has a 9 year old boy

 - Family #2 Mom's initials  T.M. - she has 2 children; 15 year old boy and a 11 year old girl.

Some suggested Ideas Include:

Grocery Gift Cards (You can buy these with your points!)

Christmas Treats (i.e. baking, snack food, chocolate)

Household items (i.e. laundry soap, dish soap, tea towels)

Candy

Small Toys (lego, action heros)
Winter Hats/Mittens/Gloves
